The artist of the afternoon is Tehching Hsieh.

His most famous work is "One Year Performance 1980-1981" - he spent 12 months punching a time clock every hour, on the hour, 24 hours a day. Read more here.

I think alot of Tehching's work is about time passing and repeating a set of instructions, which is why he's perfect for this afternoon's lecture - which was on exactly those things!
